I have a noticeable eye problem that some kids don’t believe because I don’t wear glasses. They don’t correct my eyes enough to bother wearing them anyway. Nevertheless, I get decent grades. School was difficult, but not academically. My whole life I have tended to dress, as the kids behind me tell me, like a “cross dresser”. I lay in my bed reflecting on a time years before where I was fixadetadly playing video game, as I usually did, when my mom came up and asked. “Sweetie, do you want to be a boy?” “No” I lied. With all the stuff I already had, why would I add “trans”? Coming of age and figuring things out is all about growing up. Some things just take longer than others to fully work out.
